The other 2 Butias in-ground had no issue. They're both a little smaller. I think this is a rot issue due to too much wet. This is the wettest part of my garden.

    Beware, it is very invasive. In Chile is considered a pest for farmer as their seeds feed mice. It has its role in the environmental balance. This plant is now used as a based for Nanocellulose; a gel like type of component that can strengthen comcrete and other material it is considered strong as steel and flexible as a spider web.

    I know this was years ago but I am a little confused on the torsion bars. Do you have a video on those? My truck is heavy duty like yours. Do I take the bars out? Take the torsion off and leave them in? Heard you take some bolts out and remove clips?. What did you do? Is it safe?

    • @wintermetalhd
      @wintermetalhd Месяц назад

      Unload the t-bars by backing out the adjuster at the rear of the torsion bar. First jack up the wheel to unload the torsion bar, then back off the adjuster but keep track or how many turns, or wrench flats, you back it off, do you can re-set it after you're done.

    • @wintermetalhd
      @wintermetalhd Месяц назад

      Sorry my phones auto correct sucks. T-bars stay in but you will want to unload them. Back out the adjuster at the rear of the torsion bar and keep track of how many turns so you can reset it when you're done.

    That’s a cello, not a bass. A bass is about 6 feet high overall. And that bridge is way too huge, obviously, as it is indeed for a bass.

    • @wintermetalhd
      @wintermetalhd Месяц назад

      You seem to not know the difference between the two instruments. Double basses have extendable endipens, which are extended when playing pizz (to make the instrument taller), and collapsed when playing arco (to make the instrument shorter). Cellos are significantly smaller overall than double basses. Not just in height.

    There is no need to pull the plastic cover off on top the egr housing. Also, remove the two bolts behind the egr cooler and everything comes out in one piece. Backout the studs that (6mm) that hold the egr valve. One piece removal. Much much easier.

      I recently had to move. But, my property in WA had LOTS of shade from all the big Douglas firs. Sun lovers had to be positioned where I could get them in the sun. The evergreen needles never presented a problem, they were everywhere, even in the house from being tracked in all the time.

    I worked for a hydroponic store back in 2015 and it's hilarious to see fools buying buying these mars hydros and cheap blurple LEDs. Congratulations, now you've got a ton of single, 100w lights... and a lot of these shitty Amazon LEDs mislead the customer read the fine print. "1000w equivalent LED that only consumes 100!" Time and time again idiots going through the light gauntlet on amazon, wasting tons of money over the course of months, or even years. • @wintermetalhd
      @wintermetalhd 10 месяцев назад

      Not everybody can drive a ferrari, sometimes a Geo Metro gets you everything you need in life. Sure it would be great to have the budget to pay a luthier for quality work. But my limited skills have never warranted a professional instrument. You can make do with what you've got, or make do without.

    • @jonviol
      @jonviol 10 месяцев назад

      What a odd reply . Anybody can do quality work if they observe and reflect on what their eyes tell them . Nothing to do with money unless you decide to ship the job out to a professional who needs to charge you top wack . The bridge you started with was a much too big . A simple check with a measure -forget the generic size-.would have told you that . Neck angle and fingerboard extension height all differ and the 1/2 size bridge may be the correct size for a 3/4 ,or vise versa .

    • @wintermetalhd
      @wintermetalhd 10 месяцев назад

      @@jonviol I see, I thought your criticism was based on the fact that I don't have a luthier's experience. What you actually meant is that I just suck as an amateur craftsman and hobbyist, and you have nothing constructive to add. Since I completed the job successfully and enjoyed playing this bass arco for a couple years, your opinion is worth nothing. Feel free to make a video about your successes with it.

    • @maxxvidzs
      @maxxvidzs 8 месяцев назад

      Don't give a hoot to the criticism, music has already been democratized in the 21st century! Some may still be hungover from the wealthy Baroque era lifestyle!
